COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This 5 day course is designed to prepare the participants for the Certified Welding Inspector Course. This course will provide participants with an overview of the welding codebook D1.1, welding safety, discontinuities, welding and metallurgy, methods of non-destructive testing, basic math, and metric conversion. Classroom instruction will be delivered primarily through Power Point presentation and multimedia. The Certification Manual for Welding Inspector, (published by the American Welding Society) will be used.

• AWS Structural Welding Code-Steel  D1.1, 2010 edition ($201.00)
• Certification Manual for Welding Inspectors    ($95.00)
